• Former FDNY firetruck donated after 9/11 being restored by Tulsa Tech students (fox23.com) — Tulsa Tech students are restoring the Spirit of Oklahoma, a former FDNY firetruck originally funded by Oklahoma schoolchildren after 9/11, to return it to the Tulsa Fire Museum. The hands-on project teaches advanced mechanical and bodywork skills while preserving a powerful story of Oklahoma's support for New York firefighters and the lasting bond between the two communities.
