Officers say witnesses heard gunfire but couldn't describe a suspect, and they're urging anyone with information to call Tulsa Crime Stoppers anonymously.
3. Twilight In Concert set to stop at Tulsa PAC in March (ktul.com) — Twilight fans in Tulsa can plan ahead for a live-to-film concert at the Tulsa PAC on March 11, 2027, featuring a 12-piece ensemble performing the movie's soundtrack by candlelight. Tickets go on sale Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. through the Tulsa PAC Ticket Office or online, offering a one-night-only experience for local movie and music lovers.
4. Tulsa music figure Ray D. Rowe dies (tulsaworld.com) — Tulsa is mourning Ray D. Rowe, a 90-year-old Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Famer and early GAP Band member who helped shape the city's music legacy. From Greenwood to Cain's Ballroom, his performances and influence left a lasting mark on Tulsa's cultural history and its archives.
5. Tulsa housekeeper wins annual bedmaking competition in 55 seconds (newson6.com) — A longtime housekeeper at Hampton Inn Downtown Tulsa just claimed bragging rights as the city's fastest bedmaker, winning an International Housekeepers Week competition at the Tulsa Marriott Southern Hills with a 55‑second bed. The friendly contest drew 22 Tulsa-area hotel housekeeping teams, highlighting how crucial their behind-the-scenes work is for visitors and locals who rely on clean, welcoming rooms.
