  1. A Tulsa City Council working group established to address substandard living conditions for local renters is still working through potential policy proposals, but has already found some areas for improvement. For instance, the group is ready to advocate for a change to the state landlord-tenant act to outlaw retaliation against renters. Councilor Jeannie Cue said this change could push more people to come forward before conditions become downright dangerous. (Public Radio Tulsa)
  2. The Tulsa Health Department met Wednesday to discuss the concerns of the Omicron COVID-19 variant in Oklahoma. The department says they are prepared to begin testing for the variant. (News On 6)
  3. The Philbrook Museum is bringing holiday cheer to Tulsa again this year with some classic traditions, like Christmas tree displays and Santa meet-and-greets, and the dazzling "Festival Nights," a magical oasis complete with thousands of lights synced to music. (news9.com KWTV)
  4. Tulsa police arrested four men earlier this week as part of a prostitution sting after each of them offered money in exchange for sex to undercover officers. (KOKI FOX 23)
  5. A recent American Home Shield study ranked Tulsa as the fourth most affordable city in America for 2022. Tulsa has one of the lowest costs of living in the country (about 17 percent below average), and housing prices are also nearly 50 percent below the national average.(KRMG)
