Here are the top stories today in Tulsa:
- Tulsa Police identified the fatal hit-and-run suspect as 27-year-old Cody Carrell. Officers say Carrell ran a red light near Admiral and Utica, T-boned another car killing a woman, and then got out of his car and ran off. The crash happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday night. The victim who was hit crashed into a third vehicle but that driver is expected to be okay. (News On 6)
- Bryce Marshall with the Tulsa Better Business Bureau warns of scam text messages posing as cell service providers. Scam texts are making their rounds not only in Green Country but nationwide. The consequences of clicking on a link sent to your phone vary; they can sometimes be minor but it's best to not input your or anyone else's information into any suspicious links. (kjrh.com)
- Police are investigating after burglars crashed a Buick into Twister Wireless, a Tulsa-based cellphone store. (News On 6)
- The Tulsa Health Department kicked off its "Don't Bug Me:" Flu and COVID prevention campaign today. (KTUL)
