Here are the top stories in Tulsa today:

1. Tulsa Police searching for a suspect in the city's most recent homicide. A person was shot and killed a person near 41st and Memorial just after midnight Saturday after an apparent robbery gone wrong. Investigators are checking surveillance video from nearby businesses, but haven't released any information. (KTUL)
2. Local animal rescue Animal Aid of Tulsa hosted a grand opening on Saturday for its new location on E. 21st Street. The 60-year-old organization also held a thrift store sale, adoptions, and outdoor entertainment at the community event. Organizers say they are not accepting any animal intakes at this time, but they are letting the public know there is a need for more foster homes. (kjrh.com)
3. Today (Nov. 22), the northbound lanes on the South Peoria Avenue bridge over Crow Creek at East 32nd Street will be closed in preparation for the replacement of the bridge. Two-way traffic will be open in the southbound lanes (one lane in each direction). Beginning next week (Monday, Nov. 29), Peoria Avenue will be completely closed at this location until the construction of the bridge is completed in summer 2022. Recommended alternate routes for travel between 31st and 41st Streets are Riverside Drive and Lewis Avenue. (Press Release Desk)
4. Neill Equality Center hosted a vigil for Transgender Day Of Remembrance on Saturday, commemorating the lives lost this year to acts of anti-transgender violence. (News On 6)
5. The City of Tulsa, in partnership with the Metropolitan Environmental Trust, will be collecting used cooking oils on Saturday, Nov. 27 at the Central M.e.t. Recycling Center, 3495 S. Sheridan Road. (Press Release Desk)
