Here are the top stories today in Tulsa:

  1. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reopened an exit ramp in downtown Tulsa on Monday morning. The eastbound exit ramp from I-244 to US-75 northbound was forced to close after a load of steel broke loose from a semi-truck. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. (News On 6)
  2. Tulsa Public Schools discussed changes to the district's masking policy at a board meeting Monday night. Superintendent Dr. Deborah Gist announced a proposed timeline to roll back mask requirements following a decline in case counts of COVID-19 across the county. (News On 6)
  3. Police arrested the driver of a stolen SUV Sunday night following a chase that ended near 56th Street. An Owasso officer noticed the vehicle near 116th and North Highway 169 and attempted to stop the vehicle. The suspect got out and tried to run on foot, but with the help of Tulsa Police K9 Officers and the Tulsa Police helicopter, officers tracked him down and took him into custody. (KTUL)
