As the Tulsa County District Attorney's Office continues to search for alternative solutions to the city's drug-related crime problem, they have created a program called Drug Court, "a more efficient way to fight crime." Rather than sending individuals to prison for certain drug charges, participants can pay a fee to complete the two-year Drug Court program, which involves weekly counseling sessions, taking random drug tests, getting and keeping a job, and attending treatment and support meetings.
