1. 27-year-old Cody Carrell is charged with manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident. Carrell ran a red light in October near Admiral and Utica and t-boned Mary Byers, a 911 dispatcher. While Carrell took off after the crash, he eventually turned himself in. Byers was killed at the scene. (news9.com KWTV)
2. The FDA and CDC have issued an Emergency Use Authorization for the administration of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to children ages 5 to 11 years. The Tulsa Health Department will begin administering the vaccine for children in this age group when the vaccine arrives. At this time, the first shipment of pediatric Pfizer vaccines is expected to arrive the week of Nov. 8. (KTUL)
