Here are the top stories in Tulsa today:
- Tulsa County awarded $500,000 from its share of American Rescue Plan pandemic relief funds to the Muscogee Nation's monoclonal antibody infusion center in Tulsa, which health officials say is playing a significant role in keeping Green Country COVID-19 patients out of area hospitals. Muscogee Nation Principal Chief David Hill said the Tribe's health care partnerships with Tulsa County have been fruitful for Tribal citizens and non-citizens alike. (Public Radio Tulsa)
- Two Tulsa police officers have been charged with helping conceal evidence of a shooting involving the brother of the boyfriend of a former officer. Lt. Marcus Harper and Officer Ananias Carson III were charged Tuesday as accessories after the fact. Both officers, who were initially placed on paid leave, are now on unpaid leave, said Police Chief Wendell Franklin.(KOCO Oklahoma City)
- The Tulsa City Council approved a motion to move an ordinance granting Public Service Company of Oklahoma a franchise agreement with the City of Tulsa at its next Council meeting. (kjrh.com)
