- The search for two Welch girls begins again today as crews plan another operation in Picher.
Lauria Bible and Ashley Freeman were kidnapped and killed in December 1999 and crews have been searching for their remains ever since. A K9 team from Arkansas is coming in on Friday to search an area in Picher where the girls' remains could be. (KJRH) - After months of searching, Choctaw tribal police have arrested Reid Jordan, a man they say stole an ambulance from outside a home in Soper. He's now charged with second-degree murder because paramedics needed that ambulance to transport a man who was having chest pains. Jordan took it while they were inside the man's house and without the ambulance, the victim died while a family member was taking him to the hospital. (KTUL)
- The Oklahoma Alliance for Animals is offering a reward for the arrest of an animal abuse suspect. (KRMG)
- A truck crash downed power lines and caused a brief power outage for hundreds of Tulsa residents Wednesday. (News On 6)
