  1. Hundreds of local volunteers worked this weekend to help Tulsa-area families and communities through the Send Relief Serve Tour. This national initiative partners with local churches, schools, and city leaders to make "the most transformative impact possible through various community-building projects." Serve Tour Tulsa volunteers were stationed across Oklahoma to work on 30 different projects, from working with individual families to beautifying senior care homes to planting gardens in a neighborhood.   2. A network of mountain bike trails near I-44 and 33rd West Ave. is now officially open to cycling enthusiasts. Tulsa's Bike Club, an after-school volunteer organization that works with kids in Tulsa Public Schools, has been working for the last five years to convert Lubell Park (behind Remington Elementary School) into the new Lubell Park Trails.
