Sign Grant Program Seeks To Improve Neighborhood Pride And Morale In Tulsa

The City of Tulsa invites registered neighborhoods to apply for a Neighborhood Sign Grant through the Working in Neighborhoods (WIN) department.

The Neighborhood Sign Grant is a competitive mini-grant program that engages residents by improving neighborhood pride and morale one neighborhood at a time. Available funds will assist neighborhoods with the purchase of up to four neighborhood signs for their area.

Each grant is valued at the cost of one to four signs with stop sign installation included. The WIN department will provide signs to selected neighborhoods ready for installation.

The signs are awarded to neighborhood groups upon successful completion of a grant application. To be selected, applicants must submit their applications by Monday, June 21, 2021.

The application must include:

  • The location(s) of the sign(s)
  • A design for your neighborhood sign
  • Measures of success
  • A neighborhood engagement plan including five neighbors who support the new signage

Applicants are also responsible for submitting their sign designs to the Arts Commission for review and approval.

Citizens can find the application at https://www.cityoftulsa.org/neighborhoods or pick one up in-person, by appointment only, at City Hall, 175 East Second Street Tulsa, OK 74103.
