Street Maintenance Projects To Begin Next Week In Tulsa– August 17, 18 On South Peoria Avenue, East 91 Street
Lane closures are scheduled to be in effect for approximately two weeks.

A street maintenance project is scheduled to begin on Monday, Aug. 17, on South Peoria Avenue between East 56th Street and East 61st Street. During this project, traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction. Lane closures are scheduled to be in effect for approximately two weeks.

Then on Tuesday, Aug. 18, a street maintenance project is scheduled to begin on East 91st Street between South Mingo Road and South 101st East Avenue. During this project, traffic also will be limited to one lane in each direction. Lane closures are scheduled to be in effect for approximately two weeks.
These “mill, patch and overlay” projects consist of milling, or removing the old surface of the road, patching underneath the surface, and then overlaying the roadway surface with asphalt.
