Over the last few weeks, GreenPlay, LLC., a national parks, recreation, and open space consulting firm, conducted several "virtual focus groups" with community stakeholders.

Thursday’s meeting will provide a summary of feedback from those virtual focus groups on a range of topics, including existing parks, recreational facilities, community service, and amenities.

All public feedback, input and data will be analyzed and used to help determine the community’s current use of Tulsa Parks, as well as determine and prioritize the future needs and desires to repair, upgrade and improve parks and cultural assets for the next five to 10 years.

"We really appreciate those who have taken time these past few weeks to give us their feedback on how we can be better, either as part of the "Let’s Talk Tulsa Parks" initiative or the work with GreenPlay, LLC on updating our master plan,” Anna America, Chief of Culture and Recreation, said. “We hope to see many of our neighbors join us again on Thursday night to hear some of what we’ve learned so far."

The meeting will be hosted on Zoom and will be live-streamed on the Tulsa Parks Facebook page and TGOV. Participants will need to register to join the discussion.
