Tulsa Public Schools: Student Artwork On Display At TCC In Exhibition Titled F.A.C.E. Of Tulsa Public Schools

An exhibition of student artwork is on display right now at the TCC Center for Creativity! The exhibit is called F.A.C.E. of Tulsa Public Schools (Fine Arts Creative Exhibit).

The exhibit features both 2D and 3D artwork created by students at Webster, McLain, Edison Preparatory, Booker T. Washington, and Will Rogers College high schools. The artwork ranges from colorful masks to food-themed collages and self-portraits. 

Fine Arts Content Manager Aleks Kitchens says: “When student artists are able to display their work in an incredible public space like TCC’s Center for Creativity, they can take pride in their talent, see the value of their hard work and dedication, and understand that art is a viable post-secondary education path and career choice.”

Booker T. Washington High School art teacher Kendra Shinn proposed the exhibition’s name.

Kitchens says: “F.A.C.E. of Tulsa Public Schools is an exhibition reflecting the many faces and talents of our high school art students. We are incredibly grateful to the Center for Creativity staff for their partnership with this exhibition and to the art teachers who made it happen!”
