• Oklahoma Fire Situation Report: Elevated Fire Weather and Triple-Digit Heat Threaten Western Counties (oklahomafarmreport.com) — A large wildfire in Woodward County, the Burnt Canyon Fire, has already burned more than 3,300 acres and is only 40% contained as extreme heat and very low humidity grip western Oklahoma. State forestry officials warn that triple-digit temperatures, dry fuels, and burn bans mean any spark around Woodward could spread quickly, urging residents to avoid outdoor burning and stay alert for changing fire conditions.
