Earthquake Strikes 8 Miles South Of Molalla

BREAKING: The earthquake was reported just before 5:30 p.m. Did YOU feel it?

MOLALLA, OR — A magnitude 4.0 earthquake was reported about 7.5 miles south of Molalla and east of Silverton just before 5:30 p.m. Dec. 13, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The temblor was reported at a depth of nearly 11 miles. The nearest town to the epicenter is Scotts Mills, a town of less than 400 people.

No injuries have been reported.
