Washington Woman Accused Of Causing Fatal Crash In Central Oregon
Shannon Rogers of Goldendale, WA, reportedly struck the rear of a truck driven by Bend resident Brian Harris, sending both cars into trees.

SUNRIVER, OR — A 55-year-old Washington woman allegedly caused a fatal car crash in Central Oregon Wednesday morning. Oregon State Police are reportedly investigating whether alcohol and speed contributed to the two-car collision.
While driving her silver 2006 Nissan Quest north on Highway 97, northeast of Sunriver at Milepost 151, Shannon Ray Rogers of Goldendale, Washington, for unknown reasons ran into the rear of the truck driven by 56-year-old Bend resident Brian Jay Harris, police said.
The collision occurred around 10:15 a.m. Dec. 6.

When Rogers hit Harris' 1981 Toyota, both vehicles reportedly went off the road and into separate trees. Harris was killed and Rogers was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
