BEAVERTON, OR — More than 65 firefighters from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, Hillsboro, and Portland tended to a three-alarm blaze at a Nike storage facility in Beaverton Monday afternoon. There is no damage estimate at this time, though the interior damage appears significant.
Fire crews were dispatched around 3:30 p.m. Jan. 22 after receiving a call from someone at Nike who reported "flames and heavy black smoke coming from a large concrete building located at 15075 S.W. Koll Park in Beaverton," TVF&R officials said.
The flames pouring out of the building, fire crews began battling the blaze while a commander raised the danger to two-alarm — calling more firefighters and equipment to the scene.

After fighting the fire for roughly 40 minutes, officials raised the incident once more to three-alarm. In response, crews from both Portland Fire & Rescue and the Hillsboro Fire Department were sent in.
It doesn't appear anyone was in the building at the time of the fire, and despite concerns of structural collapse no firefighters were injured in the ensuing battle, officials said.
