Alcohol and Drug Counselor Arrested for Sex Abuse of Client
Luis Rivera allegedly told client that he would flunk her drug and alcohol assessment if she did not have sex with him.

The 22-year-old woman was doing what she had been told.
She went to the offices of Serenity Lane at 1800 NW 167th Place in Beaverton for a drug and alcohol assessment.
It was a judge had told her to do.

She would tell Beaverton Police that when she went into the office of Luis Rivas, a program manager, she got more than she bargained for.
The woman told cops Rivas threatened to flunk her test if she did not have sex with him.

Police say that she provided evidence to back up her claim.
Rivas was arrested at his home in Beaverton.
Police think that there may be other victims.
