Aloha Package Thieves Arrested, Washington County Sheriff's Officials Say

Shawna Boyd and Courtney Freymuller allegedly stole nine packages worth $3,000 on June 19. Freymuller was arrested June 23; Boyd on July 6.

ALOHA, OR — Washington County Sheriff's deputies on Thursday announced the second arrest made in connection with a string of package thefts from the Aloha area.

After turning herself in to police, Shawna Lynn Boyd, 29, was arrested Thursday and lodged at the Washington County Jail in Hillsboro on a charge of theft, officials said. Previously, deputies arrested Courtney Rachelle Freymuller, 33, also on a charge of theft.

According to WCSO officials, Boyd and Freymuller on June 19 were caught on camera stealing nine packages (said to be worth $3,000) from the porch of a home in Aloha, near the intersection of Southwest 170th Avenue and Southwest Farmington Road. After releasing the surveillance footage to local news outlets, tips from the community helped law enforcement identify the two women, officials said.
