The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Beaverton.

(Patch Media)

Up and at 'em, Beaverton! Let's get you all caught up to start this day off on an informed note.

First, today's weather:

Fog in the morning; cloudy. High: 49 Low: 38.

Here are the top five stories in Beaverton today:

  1. Tim Steele reports on the destructive attempted theft of an ATM machine in Hillsboro. Police say thieves used a stolen 2006 Ford F-350 to pull out the ATM machine from its foundation at the First Tech Credit Union on Cornell Road. The suspect has not been identified or located at this time. (KOIN.com)
  2. The Mountainside boys basketball team showed some depth on Friday night when it defeated Aloha, reports Wade Evanson. Undermanned Aloha lost by 50 points at home. Despite the loss, the Warriors' coach says that the team played unselfishly and "did a lot of things well."
