- Beaverton police say they're in contact with a driver who admitted they struck and killed a pedestrian on Monday, April 11. The fatal crash happened at Southwest 160th Street and Southwest Barrows Road. The driver did not stop at the time of the accident. (Beaverton Patch)

The county claims the hotel has collected the tax — which is based on occupancy — from customers but has not passed it along. (OregonLive)
