BEAVERTON, Ore. – City of Beaverton buildings will remain closed to the public for in-person visits and business through at least Sunday, June 7 in response to COVID-19. This includes City Hall, the Griffith Drive building, both library locations and other public buildings.
During this time, most city services remain available remotely by phone or online. Police services and city maintenance continue in our neighborhoods, construction permits and inspections are ongoing, library programming and court hearings occur remotely, and meetings are happening virtually.
Buildings closures will continue to be extended further as needed while the city continues efforts to finalize and implement new processes for building re-entry. This includes necessary safeguards to ensure the safety of visitors and city staff.
Re-entry is expected to be phased and prioritized, and will happen in accordance with state guidance and county timelines. Plans and processes will continue to be added or adjusted as needed.
An update on future extensions or plans for reopening will be shared by Friday, June 5.
