Beaverton Construction Services Continue Despite Coronavirus Closures
Building and Site Development inspections continue with proper distancing on all active sites.

BEAVERTON, Ore. – The City of Beaverton is committed to continuing development review services during the COVID-19 pandemic to support the development community, the local economy and our residents.
“Development review is essential to our local economy because it helps produce places for people to work, live and start businesses,” said Community Development Director Cheryl Twete. “We are committed to helping our valued customers while ensuring safe interactions and supporting efforts to stop the spread of coronavirus.”
Although city buildings are closed to the public through at least April 26, the city’s development review functions of Planning, Site Development and Building continue with modified practices to ensure social distancing.
The Building in Beaverton webpage at www.BeavertonOregon.gov/bib provides customers the latest information needed to proceed with their projects.
Permits and applications are accepted electronically and being reviewed remotely.

Customer connections are available by phone, email and in some cases through video conferencing technology.
Answers to frequently asked questions about changes to the land use process are available online at www.beavertonoregon.gov/bib.
The city’s Planning Commission will continue to meet remotely as an essential function with accommodations in place to receive public testimony both verbally and in writing. Meetings can be viewed online at www.beavertonoregon.gov/291/Ag... or in person at Beaverton City Hall with appropriate distancing measures in place.
