Beaverton Crime Alert: Don't Drink and Drive

Beaverton Police say they made 36 arrests for driving under the influence in March.

Many of the arrests were made by officers on overtime, the funding of which was provided by a series of grants.

This added enforcement will continue in April.

So far this year, there have been 110 impaired drivers removed from the road as a result of the enforcement.

Sixteen of those 110 had refused breath tests, forcing Beaverton officers to get a warrant for a blood test.
