A man from Beaverton died in a one car crash Tuesday night.
It happened on Southwest Roy Rogers Road just north of Southwest Scholls Sherwood Road.
Deputies arrived to find a 2004 Honda overturned on the northbound shoulder.

They determined it had been going at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a curve.

Investigators also believe alcohol was a factor.
The passenger, 27-year-old Miles McCullough of Beaverton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, 24-year-old Kevin Sumlin from Oroville, California, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
