Beaverton Mayor Re-Elected to National Post

Denny Doyle will serve another term on the board of directors of the National League of Cities.

Beaverton Mayor Denny Doyle will spend another two years on the board of directors of the National League of Cities. Doyle was re-elected at the league's annual meeting last month in Pittsburgh.

In his role on the board, Doyle will meet throughout the year to guide NLC's strategic direction and set the organization's advocacy priorities and operational goals. Board members are selected by a 15-member nominating committee and confirmed by a vote of NLC leadership.

"I am very honored to be selected to serve on the NLC board," Doyle. "As city officials, it's critical that we come together to advocate for the issues that directly affect our local communities."
