Beaverton Police Arrest 41 for DUII in November

The department has taken nearly 400 impaired drivers off the street this year.

The Beaverton Police Department arrested 41 people for driving under the influence during November. That brings the total of impaired drivers taken off the street this year to 377.

The department is participating in a yearlong National Traffic Safety Campaign focused on taking impaired drivers off the streets. The efforts will continue through December.

These High Visibility Enforcement (HVE) details are paid for by grant funds. Of the 377 impaired drivers, 54 refused a breath test and a warrant for a blood draw was granted.
