Beaverton Police Hunt Armed Man Who Tried to Rob Fred Meyer

The man was unsuccessful but is still out there and armed.

Beaverton Police would love you to take a good look at the man in the photos. They say that on Monday evening - around 6:00 - he walked up to the customer service desk at the Fred Meyer at 11425 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Highway and tried to rob the place.

He was armed. He was not successful. He fled on foot.

He is described as a white male, approximately 45-60 years old, standing approximately 5'8" tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds. He had grey facial hair. He was dressed in all black and wearing sunglasses and a black baseball cap backwards. He was last seen running from the store.
