Beaverton Police Make 24 DUII Arrests in January

Beaverton Police were certainly doing their "DUII"-ty in January. Officers made 24 DUII arrests during the first month of the year.

It's part of the department's yearlong participation in a yearlong National Traffic Safety Campaign focused on taking impaired drivers off the streets of Beaverton," the department says.

Officers were out on focused patrols for impaired drivers during the month of January and made 24 DUII arrests.

So far this year Beaverton Police Officers have taken 24 impaired drivers off of Beaverton streets. 5 of these 24 subjects refused a breath test and a warrant for a blood draw was granted.

During the month of February, officers will continue their efforts to take impaired drivers off the streets of our no refusal city. These High Visibility Enforcement (HVE) details are paid for by grant funds.
