UPDATE: Rowe confirmed on Wednesday that the 'big nose' burglar is also connected to three more burglaries in Beaverton.
The Mandarin Palace, 5449-5547 S.W. Western Ave., and Thai Bloom, 3800 S.W. Cedar Hills Blvd., did not appear to have anything stolen, Rowe said, while the Hillside Pub and Fireside Grill, 8136 S.W. Hall Blvd., both had an undisclosed amount of money stolen.

In every incident, Rowe said, the burglar broke out an entryway window or door frame. Three of the locations had alarms set, but the owner of one of those locations did not immediately respond or call police because he'd been having trouble with the alarm system and thought its activation was a glitch, Rowe said.
This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Beaverton Police Department non-emergency line at 503-629-0111.
