Beaverton Schools Announce New Principals, Assistant Principals for 2017-2018 School Year

Nine transitions will move some assistant principals in the district, bring in others from out-of-state to bolster administrative support.

BEAVERTON, OR – The Beaverton School District announced a handful of administrative changes Monday, adding to the changes previously announced in March.

On April 3, BSD spokeswoman Maureen Wheeler identified Mike Alpert, Kim Hawks, Rod Barraclough, and Lori Krumm as new (or transitioning) assistant principals in the district.

"It's typical in a district our size to see changes like this in the spring," Wheeler told Patch Monday, noting that as annual retirements are announced staff and faculty throughout the district look for opportunities to advance.
