Beaverton Schools Get New Leaders

As kids continue to enjoy their summer vacation, the administration at the Beaverton School District has been working hard to make sure things are in place for the coming school year.

And that means new principals at three schools and a new assistant principal at a fourth.

Jen Freeborn is the new principal at Greenway Elementary School. She arrived in Beaverton from Stafford Primary in West Linn and has 21 years of experience in that district, working as a primary teacher, middle school teacher and art instructor before becoming an administrator.

Peter McDougal will be the new principal at Raleigh Hills K-8. He had been principal at Cedaroak Park Primary in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District. He's taught Spanish, language arts and social studies.

Toni Rosenquist is the new assistant principal at Beaver Acres Elementary. She has taught second grade at Jacob Wismer Elementary School and kindergarten, first, and second grades at Chehalem Elementary.

Shannon Anderson arrives at Cedar Park Middle School to be their new principal. She had been the principal of Poston Butte High School in San Tan Valley, Arizona.
