Beaverton Tax May Harsh Pot Smokers Buzz

City planning to put a tax on the ballot in November.

Beaverton is considering a three percent tax on recreational marijuana.

The measure, which must be approved by voters in November would bring in approximately $86,000 each year based on data from the Oregon Liquor Control Commission, say city officials.
