Beaverton Will Inspect All City-Maintained Streets

Beaverton all be taking a detailed look at all city-maintained streets.

The inspections will take place during June and will include a detailed look at al city roadways and right-of-ways. Workers will use a specialized Ford van fitted with mounted cameras and GPS receivers.

They will assess a variety of factors including rutting, cracking, and other surface issues. They will also take an inventory of traffic lights and road signs.

They information will be presented to the city's Public Works Department, which will make recommendations to the City Council in the fall.
