- Most industries are facing labor shortages these days, and the Beaverton School District is no exception. - A house on Skyline Boulevard was destroyed early Tuesday morning after it caught fire. Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue reported to the scene north of the Helvetia area after a fire started in the garage and spread to the rest of the home. Because of the remote location, firefighters had to call in a special water truck in order to supply their hoses. TVF&R has not reported any injuries associated with the blaze. (Patch)
