  1. The Washington County Violent Crimes Unit arrested Conner Charriere of the Cedar Mill community on Thursday, May 20, for the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend, stalking and other crimes. Beaverton Police obtained cell phone evidence of Charriere's detailed plans from an out-of-state witness. (@WCSOOregon)
  2. Kenrry Bay, 29, was arrested following a DUII-related three-car crash in Aloha Thursday afternoon. Washington County Sheriff's deputies additionally identified Mr. Bay a suspect in the armed robbery of the Chevron gas station on TV Highway that occurred Tuesday evening, May 18. (@WCSOOregon)
  3. The Metro affordable housing bond released their annual report on Thursday, which noted that The Mary Ann Apartments in Beaverton's Old Town is anticipated to open in fall 2021. The Mary Ann Apartments was the first project to break ground with funds from the bond. (OregonMetro)
  4. More affordable housing options are on the way ahead of schedule and under budget, reports Jim Redden. Metro's affordable housing bond will add as many as 1,090 housing options to Washington County by the end of 2023, with the cities of Beaverton and Hillsboro as partners. (Beaverton Valley Times)
  5. Washington County Sheriff's deputies arrested a woman in the Cedar Hills area Thursday for bias crimes and other charges. Witnesses say she forced a child to the ground "because of his race." (@WCSOOregon)
