The community is invited to celebrate this holiday season at the city’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Join Santa Claus and Mayor Denny Doyle on Friday, December 6. Activities begin at 5 p.m. at City Park located at SW Hall Blvd and SW Third Street, with the tree lighting at 7 p.m.

This year’s ceremony will feature live performances, a roast-your-own S’mores and hot cocoa station, as well as photo opportunities with Santa Claus.
Other activities include live music featuring the Arts and Communication Magnet Academy Choir, and photo opportunities with Elsa and Olaf from Frozen 2.

STREET CLOSURES
To ensure the safety of pedestrians, SW 5th Street between SW Hall Boulevard and SW Watson Avenue will be closed. SW Hall Boulevard between SW 5th Street and SW 3rd Street will be taken down to one lane starting at 4:30 p.m.
The City Park parking lot will be open to the public for event parking.
