- Beaverton's G. Trevon Hamilton was voted the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 28-March 6. The organization recognized Hamilton for his strong overall game against Grant High School during a Class 6A state playoff second-round game. (Scorebook Live)
- A new local venue is supporting Ukraine by means of a fundraiser Thursday, March 17. Celtic Axe Throwers is set to open at the BG Food Cartel, and the owners have promised free throws with a donation of any amount. The event will also mark Celtic Axe Throwers' Grand Opening.
