  1. Washington County commissioners unanimously agreed to move forward with building a new addiction treatment center. The facility's working name is Center for Addictions Triage and Treatment. Oregon rated 48th in the nation for access to substance use disorder services in a 2019 survey. (Pamplin Media Group)
  2. Reporters Jenny Hansson and Emily Burris remind folks that the Virginia Garcia mobile vaccine clinic is up and running in Beaverton through August 1.   3. Beaverton's Maya Kolaric is one of the five statewide recipients of the $100,000 Oregon College Savings Plan scholarships, part of the Take Your Shot, Oregon campaign.
