Fill the Boot Campaign Gets Underway

Firefighters from Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue will be out Tuesday morning, hoping motorists help fill the boot and raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

They will be at Station 66 at 13900 SW Brockton Road in Beaverton from 9:30 - 10:30.

A 13-year-old student at Five Oaks Middle School, Jordyn Valdez, who is MSA Oregon Goodwill Ambassador will be there to share their story.

If you can't make it tomorrow, they have other events planned:

• May 16 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway and Highway 217 intersection in Beaverton
• May 17 at Wilsonville Road and Interstate 5 (near the Fred Meyer parking lot) in Wilsonville
• May 21 at Bridgeport Road and Interstate 5 in Tigard.
• There will also be a booth set up Saturday, May 21, in the Bridgeport Village shopping center.
