🌱Gerry Frank Dies At 98 + TVF&R Responds To Cows On I-5

Here are the top five stories in Beaverton today:

  1. TVF&R reported to I-5 on Sunday morning after a truck tipped over, releasing 31 cows into the roadway. Both northbound and southbound lanes near Wilsonville were closed for about three hours as workers sought to reclaim the cattle. The driver of the truck was not seriously injured. (Twitter)
  2. Gerry Frank, philanthropist, businessman and political advisor, died on Sunday at the age of 98. The iconic Oregonian and notorious sweet tooth was a vocal fan of many Beaverton spots, including Mo Cha Tea House. Growing up, he spent time at his family's home known as 'The Farm' in Garden Home, near present-day Beaverton. (Willamette Week)

The development comes after the elite school's board of trustees shared the findings of an internal investigation into sexual abuse on campus, which prompted at least 20 former students to pursue lawsuits.
