Haruka Weiser Funeral Service Set
The teen who was murdered in Texas will be flown home and laid to rest next weekend.
The funeral service for Haruka Weiser will be next Saturday, April 23, at Trinity Catholic Church on Southwest Walker Road.
It will be at 9 a.m. and is open to the public.
The church seats 900 people.

Weiser, a Portland native who went to the Arts & Communication Magnet Academy in Beaverton was found murdered at the University of Texas-Austin. She was a freshman dance major.

On Sunday, April 17, at 7 p.m., the school will hold a public vigil for her on the lawn of the campus.
