- Reporter Zane Sparling gave a rundown of damage caused by "flushable" wipes in the Portland area. A Beaverton city spokesperson noted that because of wipes and grease buildup, the city has to flush lines more frequently. One wipe-caused incident alone can cost local taxpayers up to $10,000. The takeaway? "Flushable" wipes aren't really flushable at all. (KOIN)
- Hillsboro police released a photo of a suspect in a hit-and-run. Witnesses say a box truck injured a pedestrian on Highway 26 near Brookwood early Monday morning. A similar box truck and its driver were spotted on a surveillance cam at a nearby gas station around the time of the crime. (KPTV)
