Here are the top five stories in Beaverton today:

  1. A Beaverton man died Thursday as the result of a crash on McGloughlin Boulevard in Southeast Portland. Police identified the victim as Douglas J. Kereczman, 40, of Beaverton. Three individuals were detained Friday following an investigation into the fatal hit-and-run. (Pamplin Media Group)
  2. Get prepared for the week with help from the Beaverton Weekly Weather Forecast from the Beaverton Patch. You can expect fog and clouds this week, with lows dropping into the 20s.

  • Beaverton Creek Trail Phase II was recently improved. The THPRD project will connect the Beaverton Creek Trail to the extensive Westide Trail network. Work is scheduled to begin this year. (Instagram)
