Hit And Run Suspect Has 5 Previous DUII Convictions
Ignacio Cazarez Miranda was arrested for hit and run Tuesday night in Beaverton. His license was revoked years ago.

BEAVERTON, OR — Police on Tuesday arrested a Hillsboro man for an alleged hit and run that occurred off Southwest Scholls Ferry Road in Beaverton. The man, 39-year-old Ignacio Cazarez Miranda, previously had his license revoked for five DUII convictions since 1998. It is unknown at this time whether alcohol was a factor in this incident.
Cazarez Miranda was lodged at the Washington County Jail on charges of hit and run and driving while suspended. His bail is set at $2,000.

Police say they began investigating the hit and run at Southwest 135th Avenue and Southwest Scholls Ferry Road around 8:15 p.m. Sept. 26. After the crash, Cazarez Miranda reportedly fled on foot. He was located about an hour later in the area of Southwest Murray Boulevard and Southwest Osprey Drive, near the Murrayhill Marketplace, police said.
