Jesuit Girls Walk Away with Third Place

The Jesuit High School Girls Basketball Team walked away from the 6A Championships as the third best team in the state.

After losing a tough semi-final match to South Salem High School - which went on to take the championship, Jesuit defeated Canby High School, 53-45.

Entering the second half down five, the Jesuit girls played a dominating third quarter, limiting the Canby Girls to just four points.

Jesuit added to their lead in the fourth.

They ended the season 24-4.

Kate Andersen led the team with 20 points.
