🌱Face 'Inner Becky' With WashCo Libraries + Beaverton's Family Justice Center Wins Grant

Here are the top five stories in Beaverton today:
- The Family Justice Center of Washington County received a $20,000 grant from the Spirit Mountain Community Fund on March 9. The Beaverton-based nonprofit offers a variety of services to survivors of family violence. The Family Justice Center has served over 11,000 individuals since it opened its doors in 2018. - Washington County, Beaverton and Hillsboro are joining forces to promote equity in the pandemic recovery. The historic partnership was inked on March 15, and promises to:
- Advance culturally responsive engagement with community-based organizations.
- Identify community engagement policies and best practices for consistency across governments.
- Ground pandemic recovery strategy in the needs of marginalized communities. (Washington County)

The South Korean-based bakery chain opened its first Oregon location in January 2022, and staff says there's something for everyone. From cakes to croissants to savory donuts, the shop is a great addition to Beaverton's amazing food scene.
- Check out a new series from Washington County Community Library Services — 'How To' courses that range from starting a veggie garden to "Challenging Our Inner Becky."
