One Person Hit, Killed By MAX Train In Beaverton
UPDATE: Beaverton Police on Tuesday identified the 21-year-old woman who was killed Monday as Portland resident Chance Hoyt.

BEAVERTON, OR — Police announced shortly after 10 a.m. Monday that a person had been hit by a MAX train at West Baseline Road and Southwest 175th Avenue.
BPD responding to Tri-met max train verse pedestrian crash at Baseline/175th. Baseline is closed between 173rd/178th.

UPDATE: According to Beaverton police, around 9:30 a.m. Monday, 21-year-old Portland resident Chance Hoyt ran across the westbound MAX tracks after waiting for the eastbound train to pass. As she crossed, a westbound train hit and killed her.
